For How Long Do Termite Treatments Last?
Termite treatments typically last for five years on average. It may achieve more than five years with liquid termite treatment compared to only one year with termite bait stations.
The typical lifespan of liquid termite treatments is five years. An exterminator will excavate a trench around the perimeter of your house and put the liquid termite treatment procedure for your homes in Cape Coral, FL.
This doesn’t mean termites won’t find a way over in the next five years or a decade. Any holes in the chemical barrier might allow some to enter your house. Regular termite inspections and home pest control in Lee County may help avoid this.
Termite bait stations must be inspected and managed throughout the year to succeed. The baits will be carefully placed around your property by professionals from STAT Pest Control in Cape Coral, FL. As a result, eradicating the colony may take several weeks if the termites aren’t discovered for months.
What Affects Termite Treatments Duration?
Some treatments last longer than others, but the average duration depends on following below mentioned factors:
1) Termite Types: The tenure of a termite might vary depending on the species. The most frequent types of termites are dry wood termites and subterranean termites.
Subterranean termites eat the wood in your home by digging tunnels under the ground. When it comes to dry wood termites, they’ll burrow into the wood and devour it to the core.
2) Infestation Level: The extent to which the application from the termite specialist will last depends upon their degree of knowledge. The size of the termite damage is a significant element to take into account. For an enormous termite colony, eradication takes longer.
3) Home Environment: All the wood in your home must be accessible to the termite expert. The therapy will be less effective if these components are unavailable or difficult to obtain.

Cape Coral is a city located in Lee County, Florida, United States, on the Gulf of Mexico. Founded in 1957 and developed as a planned community, the city’s population has grown to 200,972 as of 2020 Census Bureau estimates, a rise of over 30% from the 2010 Census, making it the 117th most populous city in the United States. With an area of 120 square miles (310 km2), Cape Coral is the largest city between Tampa and Miami in both population and area. It is the largest and principal city in the Cape Coral – Fort Myers, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area. The city has over 400 mi (640 km) of navigable waterways, more than any other city on earth.
Cape Coral history began in 1957 when two brothers from Baltimore, Maryland, Leonard and Jack Rosen, flew over the peninsula known as Redfish Point, across the Caloosahatchee River near present-day Fort Myers. Cape Coral was founded as Redfish Point. Leonard and Jack Rosen, who were real-estate developers, and a small group of partners purchased a 103-square-mile (270 km2) tract known as Redfish Point for $678,000 in that year and, in 1958, began development of the city as a master-planned, pre-planned community.
The Gulf American Land Corporation (GALC) was formed to develop the area. GAC developed a marketing model that was a total departure from traditional selling methods. Approval was secured from the Lee County to master-plan the entire property into lots. Instead of listing the lots with real estate agents, GAC developed the land-sales, dinner-party model, operating from banquet rooms in local hotels. People were invited to attend by offering a free dinner for two. The model, referred to as team-selling, allowed for a well-trained team to close deals in 90 minutes. Buyers would sign a contract and agree to come to the property within six months and cancel if not satisfied. Ezio Valentini, an Italian real estate developer, joined GAC and became Director of Sales. The program was so successful that offices were opened in 24 states and an arrangement was made with an airline to charter flights to fly buyers to the property.
Instead of borrowing from banks and lenders, the developers factored the sales contracts to pay for building the infrastructure. Canals were dug, streets paved, houses and businesses built. Cape Coral was promoted like no other Florida development. Celebrities were brought in to tout the benefits of ‘the Cape’, as it is known locally. The first building in Cape Coral was the Rosens’ sales office. It was built where George’s Auto now stands, at Cape Coral and Coronado Pkwys. Cape Coral’s first permanent resident was Kenny Schwartz, the Rosens’ general manager. Cape Coral’s first four homes were completed in May 1958, on Riverside and Flamingo Drives.
